Loctite 598 RTV Black Silicone, 80ml
The Loctite 598 RTV Black Silicone is a metallic black, one-part, thixotropic, room temperature vulcanizing oxime silicone paste sealant that cures on exposure to moisture in the air, forming a tough, flexible, silicone rubber gasket. 598 RTV Black Silicone resists ageing, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking.
Specifications:
- Typical applications include oil pans, transmission pans, valve covers, valves and guides, timing gear covers, and differential covers
- Used on applications with an operating range of -54° to +260°C.
- Excellent resistance to motor oils
- Enhances load bearing and shock absorbing characteristics of the bond area
